Module 2

I have added different variations of map designs using mapbox. I explored different areas and associated certain themes from relavant medias(movies: ex. Los Angelos as a GTA Map style, Toronto as a Transit scheme, etc.)

Activity 1

Image of Algonquin Parl as a simple nature areas around established roads, defined water stress, and area highlight Select area of LA, California. Interested in combining GTA 5 Map style with LA due to its location use in the game. A road system relationship with the natural landscape of Sri Lanka. Overview of the natural earth surface and major road connections of commuting across regions (GTA, State of York, Great Lakes) dark theme of Edmonton and its main roads encircling the city the complex urbanization of england by River Thames, using white to distinguish key areas of concentrated urban hotspots via roads satellite style view of Niagara Falls - US side, explored terrain depth and details Close-up of downtown Toronto, explored basic black and white style as a base understanding for laser-cutting Greater Toronto Area visual display of forestry content relative to urban spaces Hawaii island visual in prominent colour contrast of greenery and water areas Faded style of Montreal and Laval, expresing land verus shades of nature content Explored terrain exggaeration, especially around Mount Everest, seeing how Mapbox deals with elavation and route unity Navigational overview of the busy hub of New York City, outlining highways and regions Played around with Paris road connections, mimicing a spider web layout in relation to the landscape. Interesting outcomes of a chipped glass surface or messy web pattern. 2D angled view of Pittsburg and the basic map content overlay put a description here or you will lose grades Experiemented with the far western side of North America and the rocky terrain environment the location is in with terrain levels Transit style overview of my hometown: Mississauga/Peel Region Angled view of the natural terrain of Sri Lanka Darked hotspots of urban areas in the GTA in contrast to the basic map elements Terrain location of Vancouver City by the mountains and ocean Victoria, BC black and white style map overview.

Final Project 2 Design

The final design was an ambious concept of a re-imagined campus dedicated to space exploration, incorporating rockets and planetary movement and in relation to the campus space.
